Louvre Group is accredited with Cyber Essentials Plus certification

Louvre Group has recently received the Cyber Essentials Plus certification, further demonstrating the firm’s commitment to cyber security and the protection of their clients’ data.

Cyber Essentials is a simple yet effective UK government-backed scheme that helps protect businesses, whatever their size, against a range of common cyber attacks.  The Essentials Plus certification builds on the Cyber Essentials certification Louvre was awarded last year.

The Cyber Essentials Plus certification follows the same framework as the basic accreditation; however, the verification of compliance is carried out independently by a certification body.

The Cyber Essentials certification covers five main technical controls:

1. Secure internet connection

2. Secure devices and software

3. Controlled access to data and services

4. Protection from viruses and other malware

5. Patching and keeping devices and software up to date

Derek Baudains, Louvre Group CEO, said: “Achieving this enhanced accreditation is so important as the demands of cyber security and the risks facing us and others are constantly developing, therefore having the most robust certification is vital.

“We are delighted to receive this accreditation as we are committed to providing the highest standard of service, data integrity and information security for our clients and stakeholders.”
